This remembrance ceremony will take place in the 2nd floor lobby of Tampa Police headquarters. Patrolman Berry was killed on 01/31/1941 in an automobile accident while responding to a call with the Chief of Police. He was thrown from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries two days later.

Officer Madsen’s funeral service, which is open to the public, is scheduled to take place Tuesday, March 16, at 11 a.m. at Idlewild Baptist Church located at 18333 Exciting Idlewild Blvd, Lutz, FL 33548.
